Thanks...still had middle school laziness. I think NYU is probably the toughest of them all cuz its Stern...prolly the hardest business school after wharton nd couple others. I hope it was that easy.

MIT is a reach, but who knows, i'd say you got good chance everywhere, your stats are not the most competitive, but then again, many really competitive applicants are rejected to help diversify campuses, i think you are very unique, not a genius, but near that end of the spectrum :) and who knows, maybe MIT wants someone with 700Ic

yeah Sorry but MIT is a huge reach, NYU Stern is probably a match, CAS is a lost easier, but...yeah. Umich is probably also a match/reach and the rest are match/safeties w/ Emory more of a match than a safety. Good Luck!

Deoes U-Mich (Ann Arbor) have a undergrad finance program. On US News rankings they are ranked 3rd for finance, but on my mailed SAT score report they say major not offered.

Newby, I'm just so amazed that you still think this after your own experience. Do you really want people to experience what you did as opposed to facing facts now? Can you please offer full disclosure?

Livinit, the math scores would make MIT near impossible. I also don't think they see too many IC test takers. I think the IC will also make Stern suspect.

If you don't retake and rethink tests, I think you'll end up at one of your safeties.

Zagat - I know I'm a long shot at MIT...thats why i listed it as a reach. Anyway do you suggest I take IIC? I was told by a couple of people a 700 on IC is better than a 700 on IIC becuase of the huge curve on IIC. To me it doesn't make a difference. As for my Math SAT I score...I'm not satisfied with it but I don't know, I always end up making stupid careless mistakes. I think I will try to bring up my SAT I score (esp. verbal) one last time for sure.

Colleges view these scores the same exact way. The SAT deliberately makes the scale much harder on the easier test (IC). Therefore, someone who gets a 650 on the IC will basically be assured a score somewhere around that mark on the IIC.

Also, while your math scores could very well put you out of the running at MIT, I see no reason why they'd single-handidly keep you out of NYU, which I see as a match/slight reach.

BC is all good. My first priority is definately NYU Stern though. Its right in the neighborhood and its a very prestgious business school. I am applying ED hoping to boost my chances and also taking couple of SAT IIs and maybe the SAT again. Thanks for all your guys input.
