Hello everyone, and before I write my bio, I'd like to thank those who will reply to this thread.

Ok. Let's start with a bit about me.
I'm Korean, American Citizen, and my school's got 30% of us, so I'm not really a minority.
Unfortunately, the stereotype of all Asians being smart does apply to my school, but not to me. (Ranked #2 in the state. Our school that is.)

Although this may sound completely random, I spent my entire childhood in Mexico, giving me a huge distance to cover once I came to the US in 8th grade.
The gap between US's education and that of Mexico's was too wide.
So I just became angry with my situation and gave up on life (puberty 9_9)

Therefore, my freshman and sophomore grades weren't great.
However, I became motivated in Junior year, and still live with that motivation.
So here's my bio:

Freshman GPA: 3.0955
Sophomore GPA: 3.098
Junior GPA: 3.6985

SAT (Best):
Reading: 550
Math: 740
Writing: 670
Total: 1960

SAT 2:
Spanish 800

I know you don't see translator under community service everyday, so I'll explain.
My church has Korean, English, and Spanish speakers. Unfortunately, the pastor can only speak Korean, so I'm given a booth in the back corner of the church, and I speak into a microphone whatever the pastor says, but in Spanish. Then, whatever I speak into the microphone gets sent to radio-like receivers and they hear the translation. I don't know if this was a good explanation, but hope it cleared SOME stuff up.

And just so you guys know, yes, I do have more than 1500 hours of community service.
Is that a huge plus?

Yeah. My classes aren't too great. I tried going to AB Calc, but I couldn't make that A+, and the only AP I have is Spanish.

And if you notice, my GPA is constantly growing, especially in Junior year.
My senior year, this is what I expect to see on my report card

Am Hist 2 = B- or B
Info Processing = A+
AP Spanish 5 Honors = A range
Psych and Literature = B range
Accounting 2 - A or A+
Calculus - A or A+
Physics - A or A+
Phys Education - A+

Overall, I'm an improving guy, who just wants a second chance.
I LOVE the idea of co-ops, and when I went to visit, the tour guide said that speaking a foreign language was required for you to go to a overseas co-op.
I wanna do that so badly, and NEU became my first choice.

So chance me please! Thank you!!
