I guess the only reason why i ask this is because some kid from my school got I believe deferred with a 28 act and a 3.5 gpa in state.

i am a male in state, 27 act, 3.93 gpa applying to pre nursing. Just applied a week ago.

4 year track athlete- high jump
teach catechism, coach flag football, SEA member, and NHS member.

It would be much I appreciated if you guys would let me know my chances.

You are in easily.

I applied on 8/31/09 and got my acceptance decision on 10/07/09.
I have a 3.38 GPA and 24 on ACT and from Arizona.
You will most likely get in.
Good Luck!

You’re fine.

Yeah, I know what you mean about MSU rejecting some seemingly-in no-sweat people. I had a friend last year get rejected with a 3.2 and 32 on the ACT (and yet on here people jump down my throat for not calling a 3.0/27 a safety).

romanigypsyeyes - just out of curiosity, your friend with the great stats that was rejected, when did they apply? the game sure changes when you get in the game late.

^They applied early October. We went together to submit our apps in the guidance office at my school and I applied the day before the deadline for the early notification thing (which means early October).

We still have no idea why he was rejected because I know people who get in with 3.3/23 etc. It’s why I tell people even with seemingly great stats to not consider MSU a safety.

thanks, I am still worried about getting in. lol

You’re seriously fine. Your GPA is well into their top 25% and your ACT is top 50%.

Good luck!
