Female-- in state

Major-- Kinesiology

Cal Poly GPA-- 4.27

AP scores: APUSH-4 and BIO-3

Will take another SAT subject test (Eng.Literature) tomorrow. But, I know they aren’t required for CSUs.

Straight A student with the exception of one B in APUSH fall semester.

President of Nat’l Honors Society. 3 year member
3 year member of Key Club
Very active in Concert Choir and Jazz Singers

I know they don’t want a bunch of Extra-curriculars, so I won’t mention them. I actually don’t have a lot anyway except for some community service and volunteering. I sometimes work at 10K races doing data entry/registering runners. But mostly babysitting.

Do you think I have a fair chance of getting in?

You’re in.

Thanks! I can only hope that your prediction is right on! :)

Update:

I raised my ACT to 30.
And, I forgot to add that I’m Alto Sections Leader for Choir.

I wonder if the fact that I didn’t say my ECs/jobs are related to my major will hurt.
Also, I’m thinking now I should have put more hours a week for my ECs. I added it up and I honestly put more time in. I sure hope that didn’t go against me. :frowning: Well, all I can do is wait until they determine who the ED students in Kinesiology are going to be. I also hope not applying ED will hurt my chances.

As you can see, I’m getting anxious, like several other thousands of students.

Yeah I know how you feel. For reference, I just got accepted into civil engineering which I think is more impacted than kinesiology. I had a 3.6 weighted GPA and a 1920 sat (1370 M+CR).

Although this was early decision, I think its safe to say with a much higher GPA and probably a little better SAT/ACT score than me, you will likely get in. Hope this helps.
