<p>Hey guys, I was considering applying to Tech. What do you think my chances are?</p>

<p>I am a hispanic male from New York.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.4 unweighted. My highschool is one of the most vigorous in the nation, in the top 100 for most prestigious public and private high schools (I go to a public school). My school doesn't rank students.</p>

<p>SAT: 2050 - 650 R - 800 M - 600 W</p>

<p>ACT: 31 Composite</p>

<p>I have taken 4 APs during my high school career:
AP Comp Sci AB
AP European History
AP American History
AP Biology</p>

<p>Extra Curriculars:
-National Hispanic Scholar Award (Honorable Mention)
-Assistant teacher in my school's intro to computer science class
-Varsity Football
-Various overseas voulenteer works. ~100 hours</p>

<p>You got good chance. Your academic is within range of accepted students of early notification. Also, being URM is big help as well.</p>

<p>It seems that Ga Tech looks more for intangible in applicants than in the past. Make sure show interest in the school.</p>

<p>The GPA is very low. I actually think Tech is a reach.</p>
