<p>I really have no idea if this school would be a match or a reach for me...any opinions would be appreciated! </p>

APs taken: English Language & Composition, Biology, U.S. History- 4s on all AP exams
APs being taken this yr: English Literature, Environmental Science, Psychology
All honors or AP classes throughout high school including honors calculus.</p>

<p>ECs: cross country team(9, 10,11,12)-varsity letter(9), drama club/productions(9,10,11,12), Girl Scouts (kindergarten-12), part time job at a nursing home(10,11),lacrosse(9,10)-captain(10),Interact Club(9,10,11,12)-secretary(11,12),Bel canto chorale(9)-section leader, mixed chorus(10),A Cappella Choir (11,12)-historian(12), NHS(11,12), RYLA(3-day leadership conference)(11,12)-group facilitator(12).</p>

<p>Awards/Honors: AP Scholar (11), Girl Scout Silver Award(10), Girl Scout Gold Award Approval(12), Most Improved Player-cross country (9), published poet.</p>

<p>The SAT is a little weak for Nova, but everything else fits their profile well; I say low-reasonable reach. Hope this helps!! Plz chance me back (2.0 thread)</p>

yeah I know my SAT scores aren’t the best…I’ve taken them twice without much improvement in the math area…I wish they looked more at writing because I got a 770.
I took the ACTs too but I didn’t do any better than how I did on the SATs :confused:
Hopefully they’ll focus more on the other aspects of my application! Thanks for your input!</p>

<p>alexx, you have very good stats. I think acceptance will depend somewhat on your choice of major and which college you are applying to. You are obviously a better match for a humanities or social sciences major at College of Liberal Arts and Sciences than you would be for, say, a finance major at Villanova Business School. With a 700 CR score and your very good class rank and GPA, I think you would be admitted if you choose the former.</p>

<p>I’d say Villanova arts and sciences is a low reach for you. I think you a little better than a 50% shot. I would not be at all surprised if you get in.</p>
