I just got rejected from Yale (not a surprise), but now I'm starting to worry that I won't get into my other schools.
Schools: Gettysburg, Middlebury, Penn, Duke, Brown, Johns Hopkins, Princeton
(it's the last 5 that I'm really worried about - I just want to get into one of them)

Objective:

* SAT I (breakdown): 710 CR 790 M 710 W
* ACT:
* SAT II: 800 math II 750 Chem 730 LIt

Subjective:

* Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Dance (10 hrs/week + Dance Company), Violin(HS Orchestra, Private Lessons, Pit Orchestra), Key Club (President, huge club) - these are my three main things but I spend a lot of time with them (there are a few other less important ones)
* Job/Work Experience: Summer Job
* Volunteer/Community service: Key Club (lots of things within that)
* Summer Activities: Summer @ Brown - BELL '09
* Essay: conveyed that I love to learn, I like Math, and I'm passionate
* Teacher Recommendation: didn't read but one I've known for 3 years so I'm sure it was good, and the other said I had the best grade in the class of anyone she's ever had
* Counselor Rec: no idea, couldn't have been bad
* Additional Rec: from my dance teacher - she's known me for so long and I think it's probably great

My main essay was about my BC calc class and how I was at first terrified of it because I had heard it was the hardest class in the school, but it turned into my favorite class. It was funny, but I thought it said a lot about me (but that could just be me). For most of the schools, I wrote about wanting to study Environmental Studies as my supplemental essay. I don't have any ECs in that area, but I'm really passionate about it. I think it was conveyed in my essays.

Thanks for chancing me! All I want to know is that there's a possibility I could get in.
