Chances?

My grades are probably my biggest strength. As a Junior entering second semester, my non-weighted GPA is a 4.0 (weighted 4.9) and I'm ranked 1st out of my class of about 530. I already have one 5 on an AP Exam (Euro), and I'm expecting 3 more this year (USH, English Language, World self study), and a lot more next year
ACT: ? (Waiting for the December score, will most likely be over a 32. Goal is 34-35)
SAT: ? (Taking it in January, but my goal is a 2300)

Extra Curriculars:
DECA (I will be president by next year. I've won 7 awards in 3 competitions)
Model UN
Amnesty Intl.
Coach Tutor
Jr/Sr Leaders Program
Freshmen Integration Mentor (I teach a class of 30, once every other week)
Class Council, Student Council
Pi Sigma Pi (Social Science Honorary Society)

I also have 70something hours of community service from an internship program at Walgreen's Pharmacy, and I'm trying to get an internship through Amnesty Intl. for the summer, but haven't found anything yet.

I will be in NHS by the end of the year,

Past EC:
Mock Trial: Soph Year. (quit bc of scheduling conflicts)
Track and Field Fresh Year (didn't rejoin because of scheduling conflicts)

I know you won't be able to tell me much at this point, so any feedback will be appreciated!
PS. My school doesn't offer IB. I'm planning on CC at this point, not SEAS. Most likely some kind of science major. I'm South Asian (Indian). I will be applying for aid. I haven't decided ED/RD yet. My 2 recommendations will most likely be really good (1 from my Physics Acc. Teacher, the other from my AP Euro teacher/Amnesty Intl. Sponsor, both of them really want me to get in wherever I go)

Your academic stats are great and your ethnicity is on your side. By the looks of it I think that you have a great chance. What did you get on your PSATs/SATs?

PSAT 193 (bad, I know, but do colleges even consider that?)

I’m taking the SAT this month, and I get my ACT scores in two days (I’m in Chicago, so I need it to apply to schools here)

I’m expecting a 33-35 on the ACT, and a 2250-2350 on the SAT. So I suppose just go by those stats.

Colleges don’t consider one’s PSAT score except in the benefit associated with receiving commendations based on PSAT scores.

quote

What school only accepts the ACT?

So my not amazing PSAT score can only hurt me in the way that I won’t be getting the recognition? That doesn’t seem too bad.

No schools take only the ACT, but a lot here prefer it over the SAT. I also tend to score better on my ACTs, so I’m taking it as an app booster for my East Coasts as well.

for SAT II, I know I’ll do fine on US History, but I don’t know what else. Would they look down on Math I? (I’m in the highest math I can be in, but Math II is still a bit out there for me)

I got my ACT scores online today. I got a 33 composite.

English 34
Math 35
Reading 34
Science 30 (if was a thirty ONE, i would get a thirty FOUR composite… but nooooo)
