I feel as if my essays are good

Your stats were really similar to mine when I was in high school- I think you should be fine. Especially if you’re in state though, admissions tends to look at you within your school and compare you to all your other classmates that applied. So, if you are within the best 15 students at your school, you should be fine.

You fit the criteria to get in, except there are some exceptions where I know people with those stats didn’t. So, you’ll never know until you get your decision, but you definitely fit. Essays are weighed heavily too- so they should be amazing. Good luck!

Do you really have to be in the top 15 kids of your school in-state to get in?

Dean J has corrected this statement several times on this board. Applications are not read by school; they are read randomly. Hence, no comparing students to each other.

Thanks for the feedback, hopefully I’ll get accepted
