I realize my SAT and ACT scores are very low. How much will that hurt me considering the strengths of the rest of my application? Thank you!

S was accepted with a 3.0, 24 ACT and SAT similar to yours. He had a killer essay about a school event and has leadership roles in more than one club. Your test scores are a little low, but I think Mason looks at the overall picture. We are also from NY and Mason may want to increase their OOS population. Good luck!

I received my acceptance letter in the mail today!!! :-)

i’m assuming you applied RD…when did you complete your application? I applied a few weeks ago & I’d like an estimate on when I can expect my decision.

ull probably get in both me and my twin sister got in and she is in the top 10% with amazing SAT scores, and my grades are lower but my SAT are higher then urs. we both applied on the same day Nov 30th but she got her acceptance like in mid dec. i didnt get mine till mid january. it just took them soo long to receive my SAT scores (over a month) but once they had them i got my acceptance with in 2 weeks. My sister got accepted on just her ACT scores (frakken 30), but they receive her SAT scores the same time ass they got mine.

Definitely In.

Yes I did apply RD. I was really surprised at how soon the letter came. I sent my application in the day it was due and received it two weeks later to the day. So atlgrl 1234 you should be receiving your letter in the mail any day now. Best wishes!!

I do have some questions about the different George Mason campuses. I’m registered as a Government and International Politics major. From what I’ve read, courses for this major are taken at the Arlington Campus but undergraduates live at the Fairfax Campus. Anyone know if I have this right? Does that mean that I would have to commute between the two campuses? Or is it possible to live at the Arlington Campus? Thanks!

jellykohns - Are you and your sister definitely planning on attending GMU or are you still waiting to hear back from other schools?
