Chances??

I'm currently a high school junior and wondering if I should ED to NU next year.

Male
Asian
TN

ACT composite 34
Math 35
Science 35
Reading 34
Writing 34, essay 11

SAT- considering if I should take it? PSAT placed me a little above the 200 mark

SAT II
World History - 790
planning on taking
Math II
Physics
Chemistry

Unweighted GPA- 3.8ish - average 1 B every semester in english
Weighted GPA- after first semester senior year should be upper 4, maybe a 5

freshman year- all honors
sophomore year- all honors, 2 AP, World History, 5; Music Theory, 2 :(
at this point we switched to block. will this be under consideration? from 6 to 8 classes
junior year - 4 APs with 2 labs and 2 honors
senior year - most likely 6 more

junior and senior year- most likely straight As with a B every semester in english

Extra Curriculars time based around application deadline
the only outstanding ones would be
Science olympiad - six years - two from middle school + 4 in high school
MUN and Youth in Government - all four years of high school
Tae Kwon Do - almost five years. black belt

Volunteer hours- around 200 hours

Thanks

You should apply ED to NU if you’re sure that’s where you’d want to go.
You are a solid applicant and my guess is that you’d have an excellent shot to be admitted ED.

Thanks for your fast response. I actually plan on visiting this summer.
Do you happen to know anything about Northwestern’s summer program Equinox?

your act scores don’t make sense… you said you got 34 34 35 35 subsection scores which would give u a composite of 35. and i agree with wcas you are solid!

oh sorry, that would make more sense. I actually made a 32 in english
