Statistically you have no weaknesses, so it all comes down to your essays and ECs, which can’t really be judged on CC.

Good luck!

stats look really, really solid. playing a sport in college will probably really benefit you. If your essays/rest of the app is good I think you are a strong candidate. But there are soo many strong applicants too though. I think you look really solid from what you’ve posted though

OP, you are absolute pathetic. You stats aren’t even up to par for any of the Ivies. Why bother? Your stats are a better fit for something like UMass Boston or Amherst. You are not Ivy material…

Seriously OP, you are perfect, why are your stressing…?

wow dude, you are real yes? my brother got a 2400 and 4 unweighted and still got deferered from stanford and harvard. Plus dude he was number 1 in the state for swimming too. He wrote his essay on how he could multi-task playing video games and hw at the same time. i was surprised that he got deffered! what makes you special from all the other people

OP, don’t stress. Your stats are good. But there is no lock at the ivies or other top schools, even with a 2400 / 36 4.0. Top schools have plenty of top applicants. Having some kind of hook, strong legacy, superstar athletics, is real important at HYPS etc. Better to be a 3.0 with an SAT 2000 with super strong/generous legacy instead of a 4.0 / 2400. Yeah, you need some decent grades/scores to get into top schools. But at those programs, the hook is very important. They reject many 2400 / 4.0 applicants every year and accept many with much lower scores/grades. Just my opinion. Good luck.

bare u jewish? I am jewish and i got denied from harvard, but accepted to brandeis. Brandeis is en elite school for jewish people so i would consider going to brandeis if u get denied from harvard

Your ECs are typical, but they are nicely varied and demonstrate leadership. Also, your GPA is perfectly fine given the upward trend and rank. Your scores are excellent. You’ve got a good chance.

@bflay- what kind of activities did you brother have? i think universities like those turn away 1 dimensional students who just study study study all the time

Are you being sarcastic?

LOL…that has to be one of the funniest/stupidest essay topics ever.

Also, OP, you are surely academically qualified as is reflected by your test scores and grades. However, without seeing the rest of your application and the rest of the harvard applicant pool, it’s hard to tell whether or not you’ll be admitted.

I have the impression that you are being sarcastic as well. That is not exactly one of the better topics to write on.

no… im not. he wrote his essays the day the application was due, it was pretty dumb on his part.

@JJ i don’t think my brother was 1d, he had like a mix of academic (math team, academic decath) and athletic ecs (swimming- regional champion for fly and back, track-placed 3rd in the 200, 2nd for the 4x4, and 3rd in the 400, and baseball.)

hey do u ahve any tips for ap euro? like for quizes test? (im not good at retaining info:()
UR GOLDEN. really like UR IN.
