I am not a genius, but I think my stats are competitive for most of those schools. MIT and U-Penn are prayers I know, but who knows. Bottom line, I really want to go to Stern.

anyone???????????????

The first 6 universities are huge reaches. GPA is weak, SAT is below average, no leadership, average ECs (for these schools). You aren't even in-state for the 3 publics.

Whoa...thats a little harsh. I'd say your list of reaches, matches, and safeties is pretty accurate. I also want to go to NYU Stern, my stats are pretty much like yours, good math, weak verbal. I think you have a good shot at Stern with those stats, especially applying ED. Michigan is probably also a match.

Good Luck

You should read the thread I made titled "What's with all these people giving advice?" and the responses

I know what you mean. You can't give a guy false hopes, but you cant also discourage a guy from applying to a college. Personally, from what I've seen, read, and heard I agree with you: no one can make a true judgement on here becuase it is the same people who want the advice. However, if a guy has 1400 SAT and 3.6 GPA, doesnt mean he cant gt into a good school. In my opinion he has a decent shot at Stern going ED.

Everyone has a chance

--sorry for the brazen comments, i agree i was a bit quick to judge

Sternplease:

UCB: Reach (out of state)
UCLA: Reach (out of state)
