Chances?

My applications are in, now I'm just trying to soothe my nerves. Much appreciated!

My information:

SAT: 800 Critical Reading, 660 Writing, 620 Math.

AP: Have taken 5 AP classes, one sophmore year, four this year. Got a 5 on my sophmore year test (AP US Government). Took AP Biology, Psychology, US History, and English Language this year. Am taking four my senior year, AP Macroeconomics, Mircroeconomics, Environmental Science, English Literature and Composition.

Grades: 3.75GPA on a 4 point scale. Top 10% of my class, (17th out of 186). Only two non-honors classes last year, and neither were fluffy extracuriculars, one was a Classics course, the other a course studying different Eastern/Western philosophies. The closest to a fluff course I've taken is Gym in 9th grade, because it is required to graduate. My school weights grades very oddly,

Extracuriculars: Soccer for four years, was JV Captain in my Sophmore year, junior year my varsity team won the district championship and went to the state semi-finals. I was voted Unsung Hero for the season. I've played tennis since my sophmore year. Also am a member of the Ski-Club since freshman year, and am now a member of the National Honor Society. Member of the Student Council my senior year.

Background: I come from a white, middle class family in Mass. My father went to MIT, and my mother went to Penn State. Two younger sisters, one entering college two years after me, the other four years after me. I'm very well read. Sometimes I get obsessive about certain subjects- for example, in a two week period I read 5 biographies of Julius Caesar. Nothing extraordinary has happened in my life. I work full time during the summer in a warehouse, have since sophomore year. I work 20 hours a week during the schoolyear my senior year.

Recommendations: From my AP Psych teacher, I read it, it was glowing. My guidance counselor sent the other one, I didn't read it but I'm sure it was good.

Major Interests:
Political Science, International Affairs

Colleges I'm looking at:
George Washington University
Northeastern University (would like to get into the Honors Program, third choice)
Boston University (would like to get into the Honors Program)
American University (would like to get into the Honors Program)
University of Massachusetts Amherst

I appreciate it!

honestly with your scores and GPA i’d say you will get into all those schools no problem. Granted that many of them are the honors programs, you should still apply to some better schools because you have a good shot. I suggest Georgetown

Good shot at all.

Which part of MA are you from?
You are in all of them.

From Hudson MA, why?
