chances?

i recently changed my plans after graduation, so i'm fairly new to this whole IB thing. please bare with me if i appear clueless lol

so i just want to get an internship over the summer. it doesn't have to be one of the top, just somewhere that pays well + will add something to my resume.

i go to a target school, with a 3.6 GPA. i'm involved in a lot of leadership activities. (idk how much this will help me, though)

no prior experiences in ibanking, or anything related to the sort. AND i'm an international student, which will make it harder i assume?

first of all, is it too late to apply for internships at this time?

if it's not too late, then what would be my chances at any decent firm?

i just applied to a couple about a week ago.. online.. didn't hear anything from them aside from the thank you for applying blah blah blah.

many thanks!!!

oh yeah, i’m a math major. and a sophomore planning to graduate a year early for financial reasons. so i guess i’m sort of a sophomore and sort of a junior? definitely a junior credit-wise.

Are you looking at IBD or S&T?

What is your visa status?

If you are at a target school, why are you going through firm’s online application? Shouldn’t you be going through your career center? Most firms will not look at online applications unless they couldn’t fill those positions through campus recruit, unless your resume is flagged as a referral from someone internal.
