http://admissions.psu.edu/info/counselors/bubble_chart06.pdf

I hope it helps and good luck to you

You’ll get in. There’s something messed up if you don’t.

you are in

“Penn State does have rolling admissions, right?”

-yes they do.

I just got rejected from University Park with higher stats than LadyGahga AND better extracurriculars… All the subjective things I submitted I know were fine, so I can’t blame anything on that.

Honestly, I think at this point in the application season, Penn State is weary of accepting over-qualified applicants because they know those students are not likely to matriculate. Absolute random guess, I have no knowledge of what goes on in the Penn State admissions office, I just don’t see any other explanation.

Anyway, what I’m really trying to get at is: NOTHING is guaranteed.

Henry, I would guess that LadyGahga applied to a less competitive college (e.g., Communications vs. Engineering) than you. Penn State receives too many applications to bother with the sort of thing you’re suggesting (Tufts Syndrome).

EDIT Ah, I see that she just applied, not that she was accepted.
