I would say you’re in! I got in on Saturday with a full ride for in-state tuition and was made a Monroe Scholar, and honestly I think your stats are more impressive than mine. But good luck!

Also, my Stats Are:

SATS: 1450/1600, 2150/2400
APs: 9 Total (1 in sophomore year. 3 in junior year. 5 in senior year.)
Extracurriculars: English, French, and National Honor’s Society. Beta Club. Library Volunteer. Baseball, Basketball, and Rowing. President of the Academic Team. Vice President of the Young Democrats.
Rank: 27/445
GPA: 4.6 (Weighted)

(: thanks so much

I think you have a good chance. My stats are higher than aeronel and I did not get a Monroe scholar offer. I am in state with a 1580/1600, 7 APs and my scores for the 4 I have taken so far are all 5’s. I am a National Merit Finalist also. So I don’t think scores are the only thing they look at.

wow awesome sat… i mean i’d love to get the scholarship but i’m in-state (an hour away) so tuition isn’t a big issue. thanks (:

Sounds like you’re off to a good start in your academic merits. Remember next year’s admission pool will be different from this year’s. Keep up the good work, consider doing an on-campus summer interview ([William & Mary - Summer Interviews](http://www.wm.edu/admission/interview)) and be sure to contemplate your essay and optional components over the summer so that your application can be the best it can be.

Beccabee - you have an excellent shot. But as is noted by many posters, it is very hard to gurantee anything. My boy got in with a 2250+ SAT and 25 credits for AP scores. But no scholarship or anything. His buddies got in with 2050 or so SAT scores too. Your scores etc look very good. Pay attention to the overall application and avoid making bad mistakes in the app - e.g. talking about how you love Yale in the W&M essay.

"talking about how you love Yale in the W&M essay. "
I’ve never understood how people could recycle essays like that…quite depressing that they’re applying to a school they aren’t really passionate about.
