Holding a job at Barnes and Noble.

I have a double legacy at Brandeis, and my parents were head of the county alumni assosication so im going to get in there. Do you think ill get into any schools that rate higher than Brandeis i.e. cornell, upenn columbia brown etc

I am a white male from lower NY, not NYC though by the way

So What do you think of this college list? Im not sure where i should apply.

Im thinking right now:
Upenn
Brandeis
Cornell

idk what else- Columbia, Brown, Amherst, Haverford, Swarthmore? IDK

bump.........

i calculated the gpa, its 4.05 W, 3.75 UW

bumpage...

You have a decent shot at good schools, but you absolutely have to find some safeties.

yes but i liked Brandeis, and with a double legacy and my parents being alumni heads in the 1990's i have no shot of rejection. So im only applying to schools better than Brandeis

bumpage....

bumpety bump

I don't think you have much of a shot at Cornell, Penn, and other similarly esteemed schools. Try some that are on par with Brandeis - such as NYU or Tufts. What do you want to go into?

Nice stats, I think you may have a little trouble at Harvard-caliber schools, but you should definitly try Tufts, Cornell, NYU

NYU is such ovverated garbage. look at who graduated from there - all the alumni are idiots because the school used to be much worse. Same as with Wash U. Tufts is a little to abercrombie and fitchie for my tastes. The thing is, if i want a school on Brandeis' level, i could just go to brandies. Im working at getting in somewhere better than that
