chances?

Hello I am currently a junior at west orange New Jersey. I am really interested to going to a school in California and I'm thinking about this school as a high reach. My freshman GPA was a 3.2. My sophomore GPA was a solid 4. I have a feeling by the end of this year of GPA for junior year will be a 4.1. I have been doing well in History and English but my math and science classes could have been harder. I took two Aps this year in English and History but only normal classes in math and science. I also took three electives because I did not want to continue taking honors Spanish. One of my electives is an honors class so I'm not sure what to make of that..... Anyways.. by the end of this year my GPA will be a 3.75 combining the three years and Im aiming at a 1900 on my Sat. I took a job this year at Panera and have been playing varsity tennis for two years in a row. I plan to work at a local Kessler because theres a part of me thats interested in becoming a physician..(and i Know the normal classes are not helping).

Do I have a chance at this school....? Thanks for any responses =]

is there something im missing or do i just have no chance?

You’re in luck, this school doesn’t take into account your freshman year gpa. Recalculate your gpa, not including freshman and post here please, for a more accurate estimate on your chances of getting in. Also, aim higher on the sat.

So my overall gpa without my freshman year will be a 4.05. I guess Ill be aiming for a 2000 on my SAT

sophomore year gpa = 4.0
honors spanish- b
power systems- a
drama- a
honors history- a
honors english-a
geometry-b
chemistry-b
varsity tennis

junior year -Projected gpa = 4.1
algebra 2- currently b
ap history- currently b
modern media- currently A
Europe in modern history- currently A
Honors Cisco -Currently b
Ap Comp- Currently A
cp physics- currently b
right now a job . wont be able to play tennis

ok, then your ‘projected’ uc-gpa is 4.05

get your 2000 and you’ll be in
