What do i need to do to improve my chances of getting accepted to these schools?

The other schools i want to apply to are
Boston College
Boston University
Penn state
University of Washington
USC
Boise state
American university

can anyone chance me for those schools? what do i need to improve my chances?

You really do have a good chance of getting in. You are a white male, so that goes against you. However, your course-work looks pretty intense with a good GPA for being unweighted. I can’t tell you about the other colleges, but I know NYU a bit more. What was your SAT? I have a sneaking suspicion they put a bit of weight on that.

What particular college within NYU you are applying to?

I need to take the SAT in the fall, i wasn’t here to take them the last time they rolled around so i am just waiting for the next date. And sorry Olzhas but i am not sure, i think i want to major in athletic training, but i don’t think that NYU has this major ( correct me if i am wrong) but my ideas for majors change all the time so i’m not really sure

Don’t stress that much over the SAT’s. People think they are so much more important than they actually are…study, but focus more on school work, especially at the start of senior year. Take AP classes and work hard! The summer before my senior year I spent about 30 min. a day doing SAT prep in a book I bought, but I think my time would have been better spent studying more of my AP stats summer work. I quickly fell behind in that class cause I had a hard time understanding it.

As for NYU, look up the LSP program. Like I told someone else on here, aim for CAS (or whatever school your applying to) but dont be upset if you get denied and put into LSP. My stats were very similar to yours (GPA around a 3.7, one AP class junior year, 3 APs senior year, 28 on the ACT, deeply involved in a good amount of clubs) and I was denied at CAS but given a spot in LSP. After months of trying to decide between LSP and Fordham (which had the same price tag, but I was accepted under early action at Fordham) I finally picked LSP and am very happy with my choice. I will get to study abroad more than I thought, and my classes seem like they will be fun. Dont stress too much, try and find time to enjoy your senior year too… thats the one thing I wish I would have done more of!
