I'm a really strong essayist, and I have some good teachers and counselors to reccomend me. (as most people)

Does being a jock classify me as a URM? haha..just kidding...but seriously...

and how is Dartmouth's english program?

no chance, not enough leadership, too much athletics

thank you for your honesty.

I've already pretty much decided I'm not Ivy league material..

however, if anyone thinks otherwise, I'm easily swayed

haha

Why not apply? You never know what they'll be looking for. If you really love Dartmouth, you might as well try.

Lol..I wasn’t being that serious meatmountain. Besides, not too many people get perfect writing scores. However, you will be competing against me since I’m going to apply. Good luck! To you and me. Can I ask your name in case we both get in?

where was your poetry/essays published?

I would say you have about 15% as of right now....If you get into the top 10% maybe you got about 25%

CTsurgery do you still have your resume?

I never wrote a resume but I submitted a list of EC, Awards, and ect

care to share them as an example?

Your SATs are low but that 800 is good news, especially if writing is a strength of yours.

I really like you and I think you have the right attitude for Dartmouth--laid back but passionate about what you love. For example, not taking AP Bio because you don't care about science? That's awesome. You put all your effort into the things you love and don't suck up by taking advanced classes you don't care about. I really liked you and I think your personality will show through and help you A LOT in an interview, peer rec and teacher recs.

I say GO FOR IT! If you apply early and let your love of Dartmouth shine, I think you can get in. It's definitely a reach (it is for everyone), but I encourage you to try.

Sports is really good, too! Anyway, I'm not on any sports teams which really sucks. WHere do you live meat mountain?

I'm right outside of Evansville, Indiana (southwesternmost part of IN).

I go to Mater Dei High School.

Guys, Im from Vietnam. I think Im going for Dartmouth Early decision. However, from my understanding, Dartmouth has limited financial aid for foreign student, which to me, is a set back since Ill need a full ride. Is it going to hinder my chance of getting in. I really love Dartmouth, for your information.
