(The reason for my low grades is the fact that I got in a huge car accident the summer before junior year and was preoccupied and missed school due to surgeries and hospital stays. I hope to make this evident in my essays)

Is it possible to have your counselor write a letter about your accident or something? If you can think of another topic to write on, it may be best to save an essay for that.

(Someone will correct me if I’m wrong, hopefully - it’s just that I don’t really see a way you can put that in an essay and still stand out).

I kinda figured that if I write about how I “went through hard times but still succeeded” it would sound good in an essay if I lace it with emotional moving parts. But then again, it might come off as cheesy.

volunteering at a fitness center and being president of the ping pong club sound kind of silly

It is not silly when it is something you are really passionate about.

Ping Pong is something I’m good at, and I’m thinking about Physical Therapy which I volunteered at the center.

lol, u must be Asian ^^

Half white, half Indian.
