do i have a chance?
also... how's the party scene? it looked like a hippie campus (lol) is it mostly drinking or weed?

If you look at the college board for UMass-Amherst your SAT scores are way higher than it says. I would say you would get in easily.

Just wondering though, I am going to visit the campus Friday for myself. Now I heard that it is in the middle of no where based on people talking about it. But what is your intake on the campus?

No. Colgate is in the middle of nowhere. UMass is definitely not in NowhereLand.

It’s not in the big city, but it’s not Cowtown either. Try to keep an open mind, and spend some time exploring the area if you can.

Like all large universities, you can find whatever kind of party you are looking for.

i didn’t really think it was in nowhereland.
it’s only two miles from town and it’s pretty nice.
although i did like uconn alot more just because it was alot nicer than umass i thought.
i’m still applying to umass though.

and i’m more of a weed person. thanks ;)

You’ll be pleased to learn then that possession of up to an ounce is now a misdemeanor in MA. It’s a $100 ticket and if you don’t pay it, there are no ramifications.

I think you can still get kicked out of school though.

Uconn is more in the middle of nowhere than UMass.
