Edit: Also, the majors I'm looking at are Psychology, Art History, Italian, and European Studies

SAT I is pretty good, SAT II scores should be raised. I highly recommend taking Italian again, because that’s a major you’re looking at and your score is low-ish and doesn’t really reflect your interest in it. You can easily take Literature again, seeing as you’re hopefully taking English again this year.

Unless your school doesn’t offer many APs, you definitely need to be taking way more. As in your senior year should be almost ALL APs. You can’t really fix junior year now, but try taking some classes at the your local community college to show you’re challenging yourself (Honors doesn’t really have the same “prestige” as an AP or community college course). But then again, it might show you just realized that you should be challenging yourself. That’s your biggest weak spot.

ECs are pretty good, especially with the paper and your dance team, but you don’t have any community service. You could start up with that now, but again it looks like you just realized that you should be contributing something to the community pretty late in the game.

Your chances aren’t looking fantastic at the moment, but if you work on your scores, transcript, and community service, you have a semi-good chance at being accepted. Make sure your essay is amazing too, of course!

Columbia might be a reach for you right now. I agree with yaintime21; your SAT II scores are not that high and you don’t have enough APs, but luckily, you still have time to change the SAT II situation and improve your chances.

Thanks guys! I’m not really setting my sights on any Ivies but I thought it’d be fun to apply. But I can still get more AP’s for my senior year so I’ll definitely talk to my guidance counselor about that.
