So what does everyone think??

I think you have a good chance–but make sure you show interest, because sometimes the adcoms get inferiority complexes. You should improve your SAT scores to about 2200, though. What was your breakdown?

I had a 740 Math and a 620 CR for the SAT

ACT: 32 math

Yeah, I think you have a very good chance. Just write a good Why Emory essay, and visit, and order that dumb dvd thing.

An average shot.

Dont submit the SAT I. Just use the ACT score.

If you apply RD, I think you will have around 20% chance to get in.
If you apply ED, I think you will have like a 60% to get in.

You are pretty solid in my opinion. Focus on your essays and teacher recommendations now. If I remember correctly there’s two essays, the common and the supplement so you have a good room to write about your academic interests and tell them about you as a person. Be sincere! And do the interview too, I think the interview helped me get in.

Don’t submit SAT. Your ACT score is better. Even if you just submit SAT score though, with your high school stat, I believe you are solid. Don’t sweat too much. Even if you don’t get accepted, you’d get accepted into peer institutions :)
