Chances

I've posted this before but I decided to apply on my visit and will send all my other info hopefully by mid-September and was looking for a few opinions on my chances to get in.

GPA- Roughly 97 cumulative

Class Rank- About 20th of 160 (Haven't seen the updated and if anything this would have improved)

SAT- 1210 (610 Critical Reading, 600 Math, 560 Writing)

APs Taken- 2 Junior Year (Scored a 5 on both), 4 Senior Year
SAT IIs- 680 on Biology
- 700 on US History

National Honor Society Member

Member of 2 Varsity Sports

Have Community Service

Will write optional essay and will have 3 letters of recommendation

My son got accepted with slightly lower stats and significantly less EC than yours, but they waited to see his fall grades. My guess is that you won’t have any trouble with admissions, but financial aid is a different story. Maybe try the SAT one more time? Good luck.

I will be taking the ACT in September and SAT again in October but yeah, financial aid is tough at Pitt

I went to my school and I actually have a 95.333 cumulative average and am ranked 25th out of a class of 178.
