Chances ? ((:

I'm a senior this year. I am applying to Bucknell University, UNC - Chapel Hill, Elon University, UMD - College Park, University of Alabama ('Bama) and University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). I am an OSS at all schools besides UMD.

White, Female.
GPA: Unweighted- 3.74 Weighted- 4.32
Rank: Top 10%

ACT: 28 and retaking Sept. 11 , shooting for a 30+
Course Rigor: Will have taken 9 AP courses by the time I graduate.
Junior Year APs: AP Stats, AP Environmental, AP Lit, AP Microeconomics
Senior Year APs: AP Lang, AP Macroeconomics, AP Political Science, AP Human Geography, AP Psych
As well as several honors courses, (my junior year I only took one unweighted class). The way my school is structured is that it makes it extremely hard for freshmen and sophomores to take APs.

Anything I should get rid of/ chances please? (I am afraid that my test scores/ GPA could really hurt me. D: )

Thank you for your time !

I believe most publicschools just don’t have the time to look at EC’s. So let’s disregard that.
Your act will get you ino AL and ole miss but being an OSS, you don’t have a very good chance for UNC.
They’re required by state law to select 85% of their students from instate.
My friend is applying for UNC with a 33 act with almost a perfect GPA in IB.
uNC is a tough school for OSS

@dhs911230 I do know this. Do you really think that my ACT will ONLY get me into Ole Miss and Bama though , not one other school ?

Bucknell and UNC will be tougher. Excellent chances at all the others. Gettysburg (SAT optional) might be worth a look also. Best of luck!

Thank you for the chances poi. ((:

Your chances are pretty good for UMD. If you get 31+ or so on the ACT, then you might get honors/scholars.

Anyone else ?

Oh and I guess I forgot to mention that I am a legacy at UMD. My mom went there and SEVERAL other family members that have gone there.

Legacy doesn’t have much impact at UMD since they’re very score-driven.

Okay, I wasn’t actually really sure if it did or not. Thanks again !
