I would say 55%-60% chance.

I think you have a very good chance as IU is trying to increase diversity, you have challenging courseload, solid ACT , and decent GPA assuming it is out of 4 point system not 5.

Apply to the Hudson Holland Scholars Program for a $5,000 per year scholarship.

[The Hudson and Holland Scholars Program](http://www.indiana.edu/~hhsp/)

Don’t worry about it. Just apply, and hopefully you’ll get in.

Welcome to Bloomington !

I think you have a good chance of being accepted. To increase your chances, apply now.

You have a very good chance at both getting in and getting scholarships.

The 3.0 really might hurt you, but the 26 ACT is around the 50th percentile. Are those your only ECs?

I would say you’re in, but IUB has really stepped up the game. You’re African American though, so that should really help out a lot on the diversity scale.

I disagree with truzzi182 that your GPA will hurt you because the 3.0 GPA is unweighted and the ACT is a 27 ,not 26. I think you have an excellent chance. Apply and visit! Good luck.
