I have a 3.3 unweighted, and a 23 on my act. I'm an in-state applicant, my course load is all APs my senior year, and one AP my junior year, and all advanced math and science since sophomore year and 4 years of Spanish under my belt. I play Varsity soccer and golf and tennis one year. I also applied early, and am waiting now. Do i have a shot? its not quite my reaching school but its a bit of a stretch.

I got in with ~ the same stats academic-wise last year. My ECs were different than yours, not sure if they were better or worse in comparison.

Yes, you definitely have a shot. I’d say a bit less than a toss up since your ACT is just barely in the middle 50% and your GPA is in the lower 25% of admitted freshmen.

Do you know your class rank? Sometimes GPAs can be deceiving without context from the school.

Since you applied early, you have a much better shot! :)

You will probably get in

Thanks for the help, ive been stressing about this for a while. MSU has always been my school of choice. Always been green always will be.

Well, if for whatever reason you aren’t accepted, you can always transfer from a CC. After a year, they no longer look at your ACT score and as long as you get a 3.5+ GPA, you’re in.

But it’s a moot point if you get in your freshmen year lol.

Again, best of luck :)

Thanks guys, this mildly eased some of my nerves.

yeah you’re in good luck!
