Thank you

With a 3.95 unweighted and decent SAT scores, I’d say you’re a strong match.

not enough information.

3.95 out of a 4.0 scale? If so, that’s terrific. If it’s out of 5.0 scale, not so.

Also, what’s your CR+M??? They don’t look at W. Their average CR+M is 1300. Their middle 50% for ACT is 25-30.

So, if your GPA is out of 5.0 scale and your ACT is below their 25%, then it’s actually not a safe bet at all. No Honors and only 1 AP, I believe, also puts you in a less advantageous position. They do care a lot about course rigor (or at least they what they said in the information session). By the way, are you taking any more APs in your senior year? Or, is that one AP your senior course? It would be better if that one AP you took was a Junior AP, and you are taking more AP course as a senior.

Though AU is ranked below top 70, in terms of the caliber of the students and their stats, they are at the level of top 50 and better - so that’s your competition.

On the other hand, if your GPA is out of 4.0 scale, then your GPA is good even without H and only 1 AP. They have a pilot program of “test optional” admissions going on this year. I suggest you look into this.

If your GPA is out of 5.0, then I would advise that you try test optional ED, since that GPA and ACT are way below their average for the RD admitted students. Test optional ED will significantly boost your odds.

Good luck.
