chances!

hi, i'm an international student from maine.
gpa: 89.7/100 unweighted - 3.4 (B+ at my school), 98.7/100 weighted - 3.8 (A at my school), top 23% (:(, but i took a LOT more APs than most kids at my school do)
act: 32 composite
ecs: tons, but i don't think they matter cause mcgill's app doesn't require stuff like that?

i'm applying to sciences. any inputs welcome!

science can be little bit hard, but since you’re international student and you pay more than canadian citizens (lol), your chances are good enough. 70% in,i would say.

is there anything i can do to increase my chances?

Maybe you could take the SAT if you haven’t already? If you get high enough SAT scores that might increase your chances :)

i have taken the SAT, i got a 1910…i thought we only had to submit one to mcgill though?

you don’t need any SAT if you’re international student. Just TOEFL (for non-native speakers)+ GPA.

i’m from the US and they only want ACT scores and my transcript. i’m wondering what i can do to help my chances if they only look at my grades & scores? my scores are high and i don’t know what i can do about my past grades…

chance me too PLEASE.
GPA: 4.1 weighted, 3.8 unweighted.
7 APs by graduation

SAT:
700 math
670 CR
680 writing

ACT: 28

SAT II:
Biology: 720
math 1: 690

any other opinions?

is my class rank going to bring me down a lot?

Yeah, send in your ACT and not your SAT. Then you will be 100% in.

@econgrad, thank you so much!!! do you think extenuating circumstances (which i plan on writing a letter about) of my dad being in the hospital my sophomore year would help my chances at all? because it would boost my grades a bit

Yes, i think that would help for just for the extra insurance. You are GOLDEN sir!
