Having SAT score of 2200+ sounds like a safe score for Cornell. It’s purely my opinion, not official. You might want to raise either chem or ush SAT II score. Other than that, it looks fine. You might want a leadership position though…Ivy Leagues love leadership stuff. Still, you can make up for it if you have a good standardized test scores, essays, and great recommendations.

Haha, you’re a Korean too? I’m one as well. Your scores look a lot better than mine. >.> I’m going to send in my ACT scores b/c my SAT scores are abysmal.

SAT scores are fine…don’t worry about SAT subject scores , they won’t keep you out. Your two biggest weaknesses are your class rank not being in the top 10%(although rank isn’t reported as being high on Cornell’s admissions factors, something like 93% of their admits were in the top 10% of class) and no leadership in your EC’s. You are going to ahve to have very good recs. & essays to make up for these two weaknesses.

Are there any other ways to improve my chance?

For example, If I go with ED rather then RD, will my chance go up?

btw, its Cornell Arts and Sciences

If I go with ED rather then RD, will my chance go up?

Yes. If that’s the school you want more than any other. Give it a shot. You probably have a 25% shot by applying ED, but there’s also a good chance you will be deferred to the RD pool with your somewhat thin EC’s and lower SATII scores in Chem. and USH. Good luck.
