I have taken: AP European history (5 on the exam), AP US History (5 on the exam), IB Chemistry SL, AP Physics B (4 on the exam), IB English HL, Honors English, Algebra 2/Trig Honors. </p>

<p>I'm currently taking: AP Physics C, IB English HL II, AP Calculus AB, AP Chemistry, and IB Economics SL. I plan to the AP Physics, Calculus, and Chemistry exams.</p>

I also self studied Precalculus over the summer in order to place into Calculus AB (the highest math offered in school).</p>

<p>I was just wondering if I had a chance at universities like Cornell and UPenn. I realize that I need to take another SAT II and improve my ACT score, but honestly what are my chances? If my chances are low, can you recommend highly ranked rigorous schools in New York State? Also, I'm planning on going to medical school...</p>

Yes the standarlized scores can be higher.
Your chance is fair. You need to work on the scores, and getting great letter of recommendation and having an impressive essay are also critical, beside scores.</p>

<p>Well what about Columbia? What about the SUNY like Stony Brook, Buffalo?
If your plan is to end up in medical school, the undergraduate choice isn’t always an issue.
NYU? These are all high ranked schools in NY</p>
