<p>Hi, I was wondering my chances to be admitted to Duke with a 30 ACT score. I realize that this score is low for Duke's standards, but it does fall at the low end of the mid-50% range. That, in my opinion, is the least impressive aspect of my application. I'm from a small, NC private school but take additional classes online through NCSSM (which a Duke admissions counselor said was their largest high school, so I'm hoping that helps). I am also super involved with extracurricular activities, and should have great recommendations. I also have tons of leadership (including SGA VP in 11th and President 12th, Key Club VP, Beta VP). I have also done many hours of community service, and I think my essays were pretty good. What are your thoughts? I applied Regular Decision and have already completed my application.</p>
<p>I forgot to mention that although my class is small, I am ranked number 1 and my GPA is 4.05 (my school only offers a limited amount of AP and honors classes, but I have taken them all)</p>

<p>What race are you? I doubt taking online classes through s&m would help much, but being from NC does. From what I see it looks like you have a decent chance.</p>
