I've taken maybe one less AP course than the maximum amount possible, and my school schedule has been totally full since 10th grade.

College courses:

Won gold medal twice in National Latin Exam
Won bronze medal in National Spanish Exam

Extra-Curriculars:
National Honor Society (11, 12)
Student Government (10, 11)
Amnesty International (11, 12)
Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Society (12) - token straight kid
Latin Club (10, 11, 12) - Keeper of the Sacred Chicken. Yes, that's an elected position...
New Global Citizens (11, 12) - no official position, but I've been in this club since the beginning and have contributed A LOT to it. Helped raise over $2000 for street kids in Belgrade, Serbia.
Youth Court (11, 12) - served as prosecutor, defender, jury foreperson, judge, and juror in real-life cases.
Peer Tutoring (12) - I tutor after school in Latin, Spanish, and Biology

The reason why I don't have a lot of extra-curriculars for 9th and 10th grade is because I skipped two grades and only started noticing the negative side-effects after entering high school. I got mopey and distracted and didn't sleep a lot because I wasted all my time "thinking" and websurfing instead of doing homework.
Plus everyone always thinks I'm a freshman. -_-

Essays: good. Maybe not stellar, but good.
Recs: Should be informative, flattering, and interesting to read. From my 11th grade English and Spanish teachers, plus the Latin teacher.

Career goals (as stated in my college apps): history, anthropology, linguistics, translation, creative writing, teaching.

Schools I've applied/I'm applying to:
UC Berkely
University of Vermont
UPenn
Cornell
Yale
Princeton
Williams
Amherst
Rice
Middlebury
UToronto

Please chance?

Thank you.
