Just quick update. Thought I’d share that I have been accepted into Vanderbilt through their MOSAIC program. All of you got that right, so as of now, everyone is tied. I will post the rest of the results as they come in the next few months!
Thank you for the update.
And
CONGRATULATIONS on Vanderbilt and MOSAIC!

Another quick update. I was waitlisted by Wash U (nice work @Homeless2Harvard , @jon212 . and @Dizichen), which I am not very surprised about. I didn’t have a chance to visit campus, and I applied late so I didn’t have an interview, so I didn’t show enough interest probably.
On a more positive note, I was selected as a Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship recipient which I am extremely surprised and excited about! (good guess @NIHHIHH !)
I will continue updating as decisions are released (I believe Northwestern and Rice are the next two) and will post a final score total at the end when I have heard back from all the colleges.
Bummed to hear that but in a very twisted way kinda excited because I got those two admission decisions right for you Don’t sweat it! WashU is notorious for wait listing qualified applicants in favor of their yield rate (33%).
HUGE congratulations on the Vanderbilt scholarship! WOW! This is gonna be quite the month for you!
Haha, I understand what you mean! Yeah, I’ve heard they are sensitive about their yield, so I’m not super disappointed (plus the CV scholarship is helping soften the rejection ).
Thank you! I hope this month treats all of us well! (though I’m sure Ivy Day will have its fair share of disappointments).
So I really want you to get into all these schools but I also want to win so good luck. And I hope I earn a bonus point for guessing the scholarship.
Northwestern: waitlist
Rice: acceptance
Vanderbilt: acceptance
University of Michigan: acceptance
Wash U: waitlist (i already know lol)
Cornell: waitlist if you didn’t visit or show interest; acceptance otherwise
Harvard: accept
Princeton: waitlist (yield protection)
Yale: accept
Great stats + URM = near lock except for yield rates.
Chance back?

I have yet another update. Today a received an email from Cornell inviting me to their Diversity Hosting Events stating that I would be admitted into Cornell’s Class of 2019! Thanks for your continued support, and I will keep updating as I hear back!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! :) : )
How did it go?
I want to know the results, too!!
just randomly reading this, and i suspect this kid goes to a school less than a mile from my house. fun! i’m going to keep watching for results too. either way - it sounds good with vandy
