<p>I posted a 'chance me' thread at the respective forum, to calm my nerves more than anything else. Perusing through some of the other chance threads it seems that most of the chancing is done by people who have their own chance threads - ie, people who have just as much, if not less, knowledge about the admissions process than the original posters. Is college confidential aware of this? If so, then why does a 'chance' board even exist if it is almost guaranteed that anyone who posts a thread in it is going to get uninformed opinions?</p>
<p>Note that this is not in community issues because I don't feel that this is strictly a complaint. I'd rather have some clarification slash discussion about this.</p>
