<p>I think you have an OK chance. The only thing that I’m really worried about is your class rank, which is really low. Also, you have good EC’s but there’s no “hook” that might set you apart from other kids who also volunteer and stuff like you. My most important advice to you is to work really hard on the essays on the application and get in a good relationship with your interviewer. I frequently updated her with new activities and test scores and stuff and I constatly told her that I wanted to go to Penn more than anything. She was close with people on the board and I’m sure she put a good word in. Try to make as many connections as you can!</p>

<p>I know, teamam, I was wondering about the same thing. That class rank is awfully low… what happened, MajorMajorMajor? does your school rank based on unweighted gpa? If that’s the case, it’s kinda messed up.</p>
