I guess I accidentally lied in the post above when I said it was my last bump. Sorry…

Hey Adodie. Thanks for chancing me before, so I’ll do my best to chance back.

For schools like SYH, your SAT I score (like mine) really doesn’t cut it. For your aspirations, a 2200+ would do. Your GPA is phenomenal (considering that you have taken the hardest classes possible, correct?), but I’d watch out during junior year. As a rising junior, I had above a 4.0 (I had one extra A+ lol). However in my junior year, I received 2 A-s and a B. This really hurt my GPA significantly, so study your butt off.

Your ECs seem very interesting, and I think that they are a big strength for you.

Northwestern is most likely a low reach, and SYH are probably medium-high reaches at this point. You should definitely be fine everywhere else. Good luck!

Hey Adodie! Thanks for chancing me. I took a look and your EC’s are absolutely PHENOMENAL! You have been one busy person during HS. Certainly, the only thing I see holding you back in applications is possibly your SAT Score. On the other hand, your GPA and EC’s are practically perfect for your intended major. I agree with other posters, if you could raise your SAT by only 100 pts it would make a huge difference. Nothing would hold you back. For your personal essay, I would use your friend who has passed on as a topic. After reading your post, he/she clearly had a huge impact on your life and talking about it openly can help.

Thank you for your comments! The essay topic would be difficult, but I think I can pull it off. I just don’t want to have it look like I’m trying to use that situation for my own gain, because, in the end, that’s what I want to do least of all.
