<p>Am I allowed to change my 1st choice major (switch it with my 2nd choice) after I submitted an application, if I call the admissions office? I put bio as my 1st choice and although it's consistent with my ECs (independent research, etc), i got a b- in AP bio, I got a better grade for my 2nd choice major. how much does this matter?</p>
<p>I really doubt it matters at all. On the Common App, it’s not like your major preference is a binding commitment.</p>
