Hey

So the school I have applied for transfer to is Florida State University. I am a sophmore right now. My major is Biology at my current university where I have majority of my prereqs done but I recently decided that I would switch my major to psychology since I enjoyed the clinical research a lot. For state universities in florida they don't let you change your major if you transfer in as a junior based on the credits you have since they want you to graduate on time.

So I was wondering if I should first transfer into FSU and when they are going through the credit transfer process to list me as a sophmore by not accepting more than 59 credits which will allow me to switch majors as a "lower-division transfer".

OR

Would it be better if I changed the # of credits earned/ expected to a # between 30-59 credits on my application so I am listed as a sophmore transfer applicant and how would I tell them not to transfer in some? Would they just tell me that its not ethical or something or are admissions known to allow a student to pick what they want to be considered as in these cases? Thanks !! And the sooner I get feedback the better.
