Change from High School to College

So through my years of high school, I was more concerned with my grades, and I didn't go to any parties as a result. I didn't even go to prom for whatever reason.

But now I'm starting to regret the decisions to not go to parties to be with my friends and meet some girls. I graduate in like 3 weeks and I feel like I regret my years in high school since I didn't go to parties or even prom. Did I really miss out on the experience of a lifetime? Or is college just as fun, if not more fun with parties, girls, etc.?

You probably did miss out, but college is also a lot of fun, so both of your statements are correct.

Did I miss out on some incredible, once-in-a-lifteime event? Or just some fun interacting and drinking with friends?

Just some drinking and hanging out with friends.

Depends who’s talking.

Every day is a once in a lifetime event.

You missed out (prom). But you don’t need to go to parties to have fun. I have amazing memories from both high school and college and didn’t miss anything, but I never went to a party.

Well ofcoursed you missed out on fun, though it doesn’t mean the fun has ended. I’m sure every second everyone is missing out on fun while they have contributed their time to something else that they identify as not fun. I often would hear " college is what you make it" so although you will likely be concentrated towards your academics you should also have a blast. Jeez… even after college you would still like to enjoy time, this is typical.
