I've already submitted my pre-application to Dartmouth in which I indicated RD. But now I'm thinking of applying ED. Is it possible to change now? Will that leave a bad impression on the AOs?

Yes, I'm sure you can change it.

No, I don't think they care enough for that little detail to matter.

umm can i change from ed to rd?

^^sure, just sent them a letter.

bluebayou,
i sent them my pre-app through commonapp.org, so do you think its ok to send them a letter thru snail mail?

^^yes snail mail is fine; don't be concerned, colleges are used to applicants changing from EA/ED to RD or vice versa.

Hmm.. I have already emailed the AO, requesting a change from RD to ED about half a week ago but so far I haven't receive any reply. I'm wondering, should I email again? Or should I wait? ED deadline is just two weeks away...

i emailed the admissins people saying i switched ED to RD, but no response eitherrrr

they've finally responded. phew...
guess they are really busy now since ED deadline is so near

my son changed from rd to ed last year and got in. he just called them and had to mail in his ed agreement. good luck!

when you call be like
omg, over the past couple weeks i have fallen in love with D more and more and i totally want to go!!!!!
they'll like that. no joke.

Yeah, I just changed last week. All you have to do is get your stuff in on time and send them the Ed agreement sheet.

hey so ED to RD is no problem right? catalina, have you received a response yet??

Well, I know you can do RD to ED, but I'm not sure about the other way around.
