So, I was accepted into Revelle for Fall semester and I'm about 90% sure that I'm going to go to SD (waiting on Berkeley and my Ivy's) but after reading about some people who got their acceptances recinded for stupid reasons I'm wondering if the fact that I didn't take Japanese II at my community college will effect my admission status. I am a high school student but I was planning on taking Japanese II (which is what I said in my application) but I couldn't take it because they give priority placement to college students. It won't effect any of my requirements, I was only taking it because my college counceler told me some schools won't give me credit for Japanese I if I didn't take Japanese II. Do you think this will cause my admissions to be revoked?

The only way I can see this affecting you is if you just made the point cut off, in which case dropping this foreign language class might put you under the threshold. Best of luck.

Revelle '13 :D

I remember sending UCSD a letter telling them I wouldn't be taking the AP calc test, and they gave me a letter back saying they got it and would reconsider that into their audit (the thing that makes sure you didn't lie in your application). If I recall the letter I sent and the letter they sent me were all through snail mail. I think I mailed it to the Admissions office.

I highly suggest you do this. Falsified information can revoke your admissions and they WILL do an audit. Do it ASAP.
