In years past when you applied online you also got notified online the same day the official letters were mailed form Cville. A friend of mine said he heard from someone at UVA that there will be no online notification this year.

Does anyone know if this is true?

Not true.

Students should see a message up saying status isn't available, but that will change in a little over a month.

Thanks Dean J. I've heard from other sources that the magic day is Monday the 27th. I'll be going crazy until then. Thanks again.

On the status page at the bottom it says....

Note:
Admissions decisions are no longer available online. All future notifications will be made by mail.

Maybe I'll have to wait?

Hm. I'll have the wording changed. That message is for last year's application accounts.

Thanks for the heads up!

Glad to have you here Dean J

No date has been given out. We don't know what day we'll mail the letters (which is the day we allow decisions to appear online) at this time.
