on the application i selected that i wouldn’t have IGETC completed by the time i transfer, and i wrote that i would have partial IGETC certification because i hadn’t been planning on completing it next semester. but i finally got off the waitlist for some of the final IGETC classes i need to take for winter intermission and have decided that i will take them, thus completing IGETC. do i need to email admissions about this or should i just wait until the january course update?

Try and contact the contact # on the UC app. If that doesn’t get you anywhere contact the schools you applied to and let them know. Also, when the transfer update opens in January you may be able to explain there.
@Oldhopeful if i did want to contact them though, how could i do so? and so they don’t even start looking at applications during this time then? because i know schools like berkeley really prefer to have IGETC completed and i don’t want them to dismiss my application so early on due to something like that.

I believe when you do your update you’ll have the opportunity to change stuff like that, enter grades, etc. I wish I could remember better what the update form looked like.
They won’t do anything until they look at the transfer update in January because people add classes and make changes. However it is true berkekey L&S wants full IGETC. If it will ease your mind go into your Berkeley portal and email them.
