I got a private message to which I would really like to reply, just after the latest forum software change, but when I open the message, I no longer see a reply button. I see a forward button that doesn’t seem to have the same functionality as the old reply button.
Thanks for any tips on how to reply to a PM with the new software setup.

How long ago did you observe that? I thought we had fixed that earlier.
I observe it right now (8:18pm CST 16 Dec 2006, or 02:18 GMT 17 Dec 2006).
If a member of the CC staff wants to PM me as a test case, I’ll happily see if I can reply to that message (i.e., if more recent messages don’t have the same problem).
Totally all day gotta click on their name, locate the private message and go from there. Nice. Hard to hit reply gotta click on top post message.

YUP been that way all day. Reply goes nowhere and PM is easy if you know how. Too bad for the new folks. Too bad we all have firewire but have to wait for 120 seconds to crank a click. YIKES
I did just click the user’s username, then click “send a private message,” and then compose a reply message to him. At least there is a workaround.
OK, I think I know what the problem is… we’ll correct it.

Sorry, i was supposed to fix this last night, with other server issues going on , i forgot about it, it is now fixed.
