Change in Senior Courseload

About a month and a half ago, I enrolled in an AP Computer Science course on Florida Virtual School. I was busy with studying for exams and wrapping up college apps, and I ended up getting dropped from the course because I didn't reach a certain point within the "grace period" (students get a few weeks to reach a certain point in the course or they're dropped without penalty).

The schedule I put on CommonApp was this:
History, Psychology, English (all IB Higher Level courses), Theory of Knowledge (required for IB), IB Calc SL, AP Computer Science, AP Macroeconomics (1st sem, on FLVS). I was going to have a free slot for second semester.

So now I don't have AP Computer Science. And before all this even happened, I had my guidance counselor switch me into the stagecraft elective for next semester. Also, in the aftermath of this, I went ahead and requested placement in AP Microeconomics on FLVS, so my course rigor wouldn't take as big a dive. Was this a good move or should I cancel the request? (I made an alternate CommonApp and adjusted my schedule accordingly for the schools I've yet to apply to.)

My main issue is this: I've submitted applications to six schools (UF, Scripps College, Kenyon College, New College of FL, Emerson College, and NEU) already, and I have been accepted to two of them with AP Computer Science reported. My understanding is that I should inform each of them of the change in my schedule; how do I go about this without making it sound like I completely dropped the ball (yes, I realized that's exactly what happened, but I'd rather not come out and say that)?

The two schools I was accepted to are Northeastern University and Emerson College, both of which offered me significant scholarship money and admission to their honors programs. Should I be worried?

Note: in case this is relevant: none of the AP courses I'm taking on FLVS will show up on my transcript until May, because FLVS won't award the credit until I take the AP exam.

Thanks for reading, and for any advice you may have. I may just be over-thinking all of this, but I figured it couldn't hurt to get another opinion.
