I don’t have anything under financial aid (none of the UC’s awaded me anything yet. I left off my ssn on my UC app by mistake. I called and updated this about a month ago and I was going to wait until I knew what school I was going to go to to rectify all the fafsa stuff)

Anyways, I never logged into URSA until now and I have access to my Bruincard page and the work study bulletin. Does that mean I’m in even with the financial aid not showing up? I really don’t want to go through last years posts where people played detective. Maybe you could shed more insight on this.

Housing Status: On-Campus
Financial Aid File Status: Incomplete
Financial Aid Notification (FAN): Not Available
Cost of Attendance: $26,466.00
Student Contribution: $400.00
Parent Contribution: $582.00
my document tracking page says this:

Status: Incomplete
Information Requested
FAFSA RECD FROM CENTRAL PROC Completed 4-17-2009
ESTIMATED TAX STATUS ON FAFSA Not Received

For those that can see their FA summary, when you click on “Find a Class to Enroll”, are you able to see the course listings? I wasn’t able to do this yesterday but now I can.

For those people that have incomplete on their FAFSA summary:
I just called the FAO and asked them about my FAFSA application, and they did see the same items that I was missing on the document tracker page on URSA. (I didnt tell them that i accessed URSA, btw) They directed me to a website ([UCLA Financial Aid Office - Forms | Petitions | Verification Forms](http://www.fao.ucla.edu/forms.html)) where I can download several forms to submit along with the other things that they need to verify my aid. You may have to call them to ask which form you need. Is this a good sign?

Hm, I can see MyFAO and the other financial aid options, along with housing (that I did not apply for). I don’t qualify for FAFSA, so I didn’t file for any aid. when I go to the FA options it says, “You do not have a Financial Aid Summary for this Award Period.” I can check My Bruincard too. it says, “Welcome New Bruins” … I doubt I got in, though! eee!

ben i think everyone can find a class to enroll. let’s stick to the sure things like seeing your FA summary. otherwise everyones going to panic.

What does it mean when I can log in but all I see is:

Our records indicate that you do not have access to use URSA at this time…

Are you a new UCLA Student, a former UCLA Student, a UCLA Alumnus?

You must have your 9-digit UCLA Identification Number associated with your UCLA Logon ID to access URSA. You can find this number:
