Change in ucla ursa!!

yeah but make an account as a “new student” and you need your ucla ID which is in the upper right hand corner when you log into the decision page w/ your application ID #.

***, weird. I tried going to “ursa.ucla.edu” a second time, and I couldn’t access the site. Then I added a “www.” prefix, and it took me to a different site from the first time. o.O

Is this the login page I should be accessing?:

<a href=“ImageShack - Best place for all of your image hosting and image sharing needs”>ImageShack - Best place for all of your image hosting and image sharing needs;

…if so, do I click “Create UCLA Logon/Password”? I don’t apply as an admitted student, do I? Considering I’m not yet admitted…?

Housing Status: On-Campus
Financial Aid File Status: Complete
Financial Aid Notification (FAN): Not Available
Cost of Attendance: $26,466.00
Student Contribution: $260.00
Parent Contribution: $28,000

Does this really mean I’m in??? I don’t want to get excited and then get rejected by mail!
I have tap with a 3.7 gpa. Psych major.

But, doesn’t applying as a “New UCLA Student (including admitted applicants)” kind of…skew the results? I mean, the system would automatically ASSUME you’re already admitted, would it not?

The “system” is not a living, breathing, entity. It cannot “ASSUME” or do any sort of thinking for that matter. The “system” is simply a container for holding and organizing information. And the only way this container gets information is if someone puts it in there.

It’s fairly obvious, if you’re FA summary is showing up, you’ve been accepted, congratulations!

^ Uh, you completely misinterpreted my post.

My point is that this information could have been calculated algorithmically, rather than manually, and that by applying as an admitted student, you are INHERENTLY requesting that you be treated as if you were already admitted.

People, like myself, signed up for URSA as an admitted student, and their FA does not show. So no, URSA only releases your FA info once the financial aid office has been notified of that persons acceptance.

GET OVER IT PEOPLE. if you don’t want to believe you’ve been accepted then wait it out till official decisions are out.

Whats the harm, in getting to know your fate before the results?

Whoaaa Caligirl… Parent contribution 26k =(

anyone getting this message? “ESTIMATED TAX STATUS ON FAFSA - INCOMPLETE” on the financial aid document tracking page?

hey guys! i’ve been following on CC for awhile now but never made an account, since i’ve read so much i guess i’m here to give some input to future UCLA hopefuls!
i was able to see this since yesterday around 6:00PM:
